Amazing ambience!!! Fine details, from the presentation of appetizers, entrees to cocktails . The service was beyond good, our server , Tatiana, took the time to explain in detail, with great pleasure, each of the questions we had about the dishes. She made sure we were having an enjoyable time and experience all the way. I’m not a big cocktail person, a glass of good wine would do it for me, but their cocktails are “ superb!!!”. Can’t wait to go back. I love Peruvian food, know about two great places, in Jersey , but Kai is with no doubt an upscale experience for taste buds, an explosion to delight!!! Valid to mention, prices are good and very reasonable for the high quality of the food and its beautiful and fine presentation. The food was exquisite. The music was great (Saxophone) English and Latin music. Oscar the bar tender we awesome with food & beverage recommendations. The owners are a very humble couple. This place is a must visit. We'll be back!
Amazing experience. Our server Juan David made our first experience here great. He answered all of our questions and gave amazing recommendations. The drinks, food and dessert were 10/10 from the presentation to the flavor! We had the octopus and the skirt steak and it was beyond delicious! We will definitely be coming back to try more things on their menu.
Amazing experience. My husband and I randomly walked into this restaurant because we had a show to attend in the area. I am so happy we did! Service was amazing, food was DELICIOUS, drinks were even better.... Can not recommend this place enough. You can tell the owner and staff care deeply about the customers. Will definitely be returning!!
Kai is a top-tier Peruvian restaurant—perfect for a classy lunch or a romantic date. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The ambience is elegant yet inviting, and our waiter, Oscar, was incredibly attentive and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly service set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. Every dish was bursting with authentic Peruvian flavor — the appetizer sampler was bright and fresh, the lomo saltado was perfectly tender and savory, and the skirt steak was very delicious. The attention to detail, from presentation to seasoning, shows a true passion for the cuisine. Even the pisco sour was expertly made — tangy, smooth, and dangerously good. I left full, happy, and am already planning my next visit. If you're looking for a real taste of Peru, this place is the real deal!
5/5! Wow what a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Juan David was our server for the evening and he was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and extremely helpful, guiding us through the menu and sharing with us the history of their newly established restaurant. For a gourmet restaurant it’s decently priced. Every course was fresh and extremely flavorful. The front house manager, whose name we did not get unfortunately, was also very welcoming and professional. Truly a standout restaurant that deserves its highest accolades. Hope they continue to thrive! We will be back!
